The Northeast Michigan Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative could not be as successful as it is without the dedicated support from all of our partners, including schools, government agencies, non profits, and businesses. They are the people that make these projects happen! Click the link below to see a list of all the partners involved in NEMI GLSI.

Inland Lakes Schools Nature Trail

Students are trying to make the nature trail a certified habitat through the National Wildlife Federation.
Sustainable Schools

Elementary students have identified a need at the school nature trail, for it to be a certified habitat for animals.  They have 3 main projects they want to focus on; creating a pond, making a butterfly garden with native species, and informational signs.
