Great Lakes Steward Ship Initiative Northeast Michigan

In this project, AP Biology students from Alpena High School  conduct water quality monitoring within the Alpena Wildlife Sanctuary on the Thunder Bay River and monitor the condition of the water flowing directly into Lake Huron. They also spend some of their time learning about invasive species and conducting the removal of invasive Buckthorn at Bagley Creek.
