These fifth grade students from Mrs. Meyer's and Mrs. Vogt's class learn about watershed science as they perform these tests on a bi-annual basis, submitting their collected data to the Thunder Bay River Watershed Project. Students are also making a valuable contribution to community and environmental education by monitoring macroinvertebrate collections, chemical balances, and physical attributes of the river. Tests have been done at Emerick Park, just above the dam within the village limits of Hillman.
