About Us
Tuscarora Township is located in southern Cheboygan County, in the northern tip of the lower peninsula and at the heart of the “Inland Waterway” We are a General Law Township established in 1888. We are approximately 41 square miles in size and have a population of approximately 3000 residents.
Tuscarora Township encompasses the un-incorporated area known as Indian River and is a residential and recreation community. With its lakes and rivers, State and Township Parks, snowmobile trails and bike paths (under development), Tuscarora Township has year round interest and is the place to live and play.
