Students from Allison Elliott’s fifth grade class take a break from cleaning out Besser Elementary’s greenhouse, Friday, as part of Earth Day activities taking place at the school, Elliott said. Students plan on planting flowers and other plants to be used later this year for a butterfly and bee pollination project. Additionally, students cleaned trash from school grounds and worked with younger students doing chalk art at the school.
