Great Lakes Steward Ship Initiative Northeast Michigan

The Northeast Michigan Great Lake Stewardship Initiative (NEMIGLSI), in collaboration with the Northeast Michigan Council of Governments, MiSTEM Network, and MichiganWorks! is organizing a hands-on career exposure experience for eighth-grade students. The main objective of the event is to provide students with a firsthand view of real-life job opportunities in in conservation-related careers in northeast Michigan and across the state. We aim to help students make informed choices for their high school elective courses, extracurricular activities, and future careers that are related to the natural resources in their surroundings.
