Thompson's Harbor State Park Threatened and Endangered Species

Watershed StudiesCommunity and Economic Development

High School and Middle School students will research and write reports on the organisms living in the area. They will be creating presentations of their research, studying habitat, life cycles and water cycles while focusing on the inquiry portion of scientific study. Together with community partners, students will identify the unique and threatened species in the State Park and create brochures in order to share their findings with the community and spread the word on how to enjoy these local natural resources. Students will also study what affects humans have on their surroundings and what we can do to help maintain them in a natural way.
